We are delighted that New Writing Week 2017: Discovering New Voices was such a success. Over the course of 3 days we had 15 actors, 12 writers, 9 scenes, 3 full plays, 4 directors and countless audience members in our theatre and on our stage.

We have a lot of thanks to give, so first to our writers, for sending us their scripts after a huge callout earlier this year:
Brendan Griffin, Ciara Cassoni, Shane Gaffney, Daniel O’Brien, Krsytal Sweedman, Jessica Freed, Jim Connell-Moylan, James Ireland, Nadine Flynn, Christopher Moore, Anne Anderson and Gavin Turtle.

To our directors, for guiding the performances and scripts so successfully at this stage of their development:
Caroline FitzGerald, Claire O’Reilly, Cathal McGuire

And to our cast ensemble, for giving the plays such a fantastic first outing:
Steve Blount, Patrick J Byrnes, Sue Collins, Barbara Dempsey, Ethan Dillon, Phelim Drew, Ruairí Heading, Cal Kenealy, Gus McDonagh, Edel Murphy, Ally Ní Chiarain, Michael Patrick, Geraldine Plunkett, Roseanna Purcell, Daniel Reardon

And finally a huge thank you to everyone who came along and gave feedback, making our most ambitious New Writing Week yet such an exciting and worthwhile event.
We’re already planning for 2018!
