This Dublin Fringe season we are thrilled to be presenting 4 new works with some fantastic emerging companies!
During week one of the festival we present Rose+Bud by Commedia of Errors and Julius Caesar Variety Show by Joy Nesbitt.
Rose+Bud runs from September 11th. Finding yourself is never easy, having to find yourself as a closeted t-girl in a nightclub smoking area in Derry? Hellish. Click to learn more.
Julius Caesar Variety Show runs from September 11th. Three auditionees from different identity backgrounds audition for a part in one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, directed by an intensely respected director set on reinventing the play in “unorthodox” styles. Click to learn more.
During week 2 of the festival we present BABY by Lianne O’Hara and Wide Open by Kettle of Fish.
BABY runs from September 17th. Camilla is 36 and she wants a baby. With dark humour and honest vulnerability, this show delves into baby envy and pretend pregnancies, while taking you on a journey into a landscape of fertility clinics and assisted human reproduction. Learn more here.
Wide Open runs from September 18th. Conor and Alex have amazing sex. So what’s missing? And why is Alex SO obsessed with GAA shorts lately? Is he trying to get in touch with his heritage, is it nostalgic trip down memory lane?… or something else entirely? Learn more here.
