This June at The New Theatre we are getting festive, with events as part of the Bloomsday Festival and Dublin Pride!
This weekend join us for a limited run of Grace in association with Bewley’s Cafe Theatre to celebrate Bloomsday. Running until June 16th, James Joyce’s Grace is a tale of booze, bombast and religious confusion that brilliantly satirises the role of the Catholic Church in early twentieth century Irish life.

Next up, we present the highly anticipated remount of An Evening With Wee Daniel by Aoife Sweeney O’Connor as part of the Dublin Pride festivities. Join Aoife for an absurdist autobiographical cabaret as they celebrate quare identity, growing up in Donegal, and their unironic obsession with wee Daniel. From their first meeting with Daniel as a baby, to his surprise appearance at their mother’s funeral.

Next up, we are excited to launch our festival season programming and share more theatre and events happening in the theatre across the summer! Follow along on our social media to be the first to hear updates on our programming.
