Anthony Fox (Artistic Director)
Anthony Fox founded The New Theatre in March 1997 and has since acted, produced, co-produced, directed and hosted numerous new plays and classic adaptations at The New Theatre and other venues. His appreciation of new writing is at the forefront of TNT. It was the first theatre in Ireland to present an adaptation of A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce, directed by Jimmy Fay – it toured nationally and to Paris. In 2012, TNT was the first in Europe to present a stage version of Ulysses adapted by Patrick Fitzgerald (NY). Fox also directed Ann Matthews’ Madame de Markievicz on Trial which toured to 17 venues nationally and to Paris. Last year, he directed the centeneray celebration of the great war poet Ledwidge by Gerard Humphreys which also toured nationally and most recently NORAH which also toured nationally.
Shannon Cowan (Technical Production Manager)
Shannon Cowan is a ICFE trained Technician and Stage Manager.

Cathy O’Carroll (Lighting Design)
Cathy O’Carroll is a Dublin-based theatre and performance lighting designer whose work has engaged with a wide variety of performances locally and internationally. Recently she has extended her lighting practice, using experimental processes in forms such as written text and scenographic performance, to interrogate the interactive potential of scenography.
Lisa Krugel (Set / Costume Design)
Lisa is one of the first graduates of The Lir Academy’s MFA in Stage Design. She is also a graduate of DIT’s Conservatory of Music and Drama, and holds a HND in Technical Theatre from Inchicore College of Further Education. Lisa has also been working as a Stage Manager for many years. Some recent design work includes:

Céin Sookram (Technical Audio Designer)
Céin has worked in various roles in theatre and has stage managed in theatre festivals, amateur drama festivals and ICFE productions. Credits include The Harvest (The New Theatre), Returning to Haifa (The New Theatre), Good Behaviour (Kevin O’Connor), Risk Everything (Whirligig Theatre Company), Moliere’s The School For Wives (AC Productions), Language of the Mute (Parthalonians Theatre Company), Lockdown (Gerard Humphreys), Olympia (Pygmankenstein & The New Theatre), Snake Eaters (Stewart Roche), Microdisney (AC Productions), Ledwidge (The New Theatre) and Norah (The New Theatre).
