Now, more people in the performing arts are working freelance and making annual tax returns. In response, Theatre Forum is organising this Working Session in relation to tax returns and self-employment, unemployment and PAYE employment.
Gaby Smyth of Chartered Accountants Gaby Smyth & Co will give an overview of how people working in the performing arts should treat all income for when making their tax return. Gaby’s overview will be followed by a Q&A session where you’ll be able to discuss tax issues of particular relevance to you.
Participants will receive a reference guide to Tax, Self-Employment, Unemployment and Employment with worked performing arts examples. Department of Social Protection representatives will also be invited to attend this session too.
This event is free for Theatre Forum members but we’d ask you to register just so we can plan for members.
See you on 1 April. Coffee and tea will available from 10.15.
Our thanks to Gaby Smyth and The New Theatre for generously supporting this event.
