An Evening with Great Irish Writers

Home  /  Theatre   /   An Evening with Great Irish Writers
Back to events

An Evening with Great Irish Writers is an intoxicating mix of humour and pathos, satire and astute observation supplied by some of Ireland’s most famous writers of the past – Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde, W B Yeats, J M Synge, Percy French, James Joyce, Sean O’Casey and more.

Neil O’Shea is a great interpreter of the works of these great writers. His shows have been performed all around Ireland, the USA, and elsewhere to great acclaim. This show is somewhat like a stand-up routine but with a script from some of the best ever writers in the English language. Please come along, but only if you are ready for an evening of loud laughter combined with a little deep thinking – a heady combination!
