Back to events

bloominauschwitz returns for a limited run, playing its final shows in celebration of the centenary of the publication of Ulysses.

Featuring a tour-de-force performance from “breathtakingly skilful” Patrick Morris, bloominauschwitz is an exhilarating one-man epic which combines highly physical theatre with the sheer joy of the spoken word.

Leopold Bloom: Kidney-loving man of Dublin, hero of James Joyce’s Ulysses and worldwide phenomenon. As always, it’s 16 June 1904. But something is very wrong. Visitations from the future, ghosts from the past, and the haunting question, “Who am I and where do belong?!”

Escaping the bounds of his book, Bloom embarks on a quest to discover his Jewish heritage and plunges head-first into the dark heart of European history. Join him for this breathtaking exploration of identity, belonging and bloomiosity!
