“My name is Amber and I would like to tell you about my family and what happened to us over the last two years. I am 13 years old and live with my Mam and Dad and my 5 year old twin brothers Kyle and Dylan
I really like dancing and drama. I am good at both. But I will tell you what I am really good at, that is listening into adult conversations…..”

Uncut Diamonds presents the story of a young girl struggling to come to terms with the stark reality of homelessness that has beset her and her family.
What’s going to happen to her dog Rex?
Can Amber, a bouncing young girl full of dance and laughter, find hope and kindness in a situation that is quickly growing unbearable and poisonous?
Ten thousand people homeless in Ireland and growing. These are not just statistics, every one of them has a unique story to tell.
Amber’s Story is just one.
Presented by Uncut Diamonds, community drama group based in Dublin’s North Inner City

Director: – Owen O’Gorman
